Since October 2017, I have served as Major Accounts/Selling Manager at Copiers Northwest, Inc., where I was recruited to retain critical top-tier accounts and target key strategic clients in Northwest Portland. My personal sales achievements exceeded quota expectations, including over $598,000 in 2018 and $880,000 in 2021, leading to multiple awards and recognition trips. In 2022, I earned Canon’s Pinnacle Award by delivering over $1 million in Canon systems. In 2023, I achieved $162,000 in commissions and income from CNW sales. Prior to this, from May to September 2017, I served as a Senior Account Manager at SolutionsYes in NW Oregon, focusing on major accounts and contributing to new Kyocera placements, DocuWare applications, and significant contract expansions.
My earlier tenure from October 2004 to April 2017 was with Witt Company (Oregon/SW Washington), where I was initially recruited as a Senior Account Manager and promoted to Branch Manager. Under my leadership, the Portland office consistently surpassed quota, and after nearly 12 years, the company was sold to Kyocera. Before Witt Company, I held roles at Copiers Northwest (January–October 2004) in Tacoma & Olympia, WA, and Allied Business Solutions, Inc. (July–December 2003) in Boise, ID, where I led recruitment, training, marketing strategies, and personal sales initiatives. At Fisher’s Office Equipment in Boise (November 2002–June 2003), I leveraged my color product expertise to drive Canon CLC sales and support company-wide marketing and training efforts.
Between April 1997 and October 2002, during my first tenure at Copiers Northwest (Seattle, WA), I excelled as a Player/Coach, consistently exceeding quotas and achieving President’s Club recognition. Prior experiences include positions at Konica Business Machines U.S.A., Inc. (1996–1997), Northwest Information Systems, Inc. (1995–1996), First Choice Business Machines (1993–1995), Minolta Business Systems (1992–1993), and Friden Alcatel (1988–1992), where I honed my sales, management, and solution-selling skills, consistently ranking as a top performer and earning national recognition for outstanding sales achievements.
My educational background includes certifications such as Certified Fiery Professional (2020), Sales Management Process and Leadership training, and multiple manufacturer and sales-specific courses, including Solution Selling from Kyocera and CompTIA CDIA+. I have also completed advanced sales training from Canon and Xerox, achieving top scores and mastering connectivity and network integration. With ongoing professional development, including reading highly regarded sales and business strategy books and continuously seeking improvement, I stay current and motivated.
On a personal note, I have been married since 2000 and am the proud father of an autistic son, from whom I have learned patience and understanding. Beyond my professional endeavors, I enjoy competition and am motivated by the challenge of working with driven, goal-oriented individuals.
